Yeah! What a day! Cole and I had a good day today. But the big news came this evening. It’s been weeks since he has wanted to sit on his potty chair. Tonight he wanted to – and without his diaper! He sat there while we read stories for about 20 minutes, but nothing happened (despite my pushing the sippy cup!). Finally he got tired, wanted his diaper back on and we sat on the bed reading stories. About a half an hour later, he jumped off the bed, sat on the potty chair and was pulling at his diaper.
“Do you want your diaper off?”
“Uh huh”
“Ok”
We then began to read a story and within 30 seconds or so…the potty chair began to sing! This was huge! He had been very intentional about going to sit there, very intentional about wanting the diaper off. It was a FULL pee also, not just a drip. What a moment! We called Daddy in to celebrate with us!
