Walla Walla Family Time

We had a great time in Walla Walla with the extended family on Steph’s side.  The kids were able to hang out with their cousins (all 5 of them – Johnathon, Cedric, Mikaya, Maleah, and Karly!

The kids loved it – as did the rest of the family.  It was relaxing beating the heat, heading to the BMX track, playing x-box, hanging out with Uncle Brent and having a pool party, and lots of great food!

The time flew by but we all loved the time we got to spend with family.

The end of year program at preschool

Very cute end of year program.  Thank goodness we remembered to take Cole potty this time before starting and ensuring we didn’t repeat the holiday ‘near’ accident.

Cole’s Gymnastics Program

Cole did an awesome job at his Gymnastics program on Friday 6/14.  Here’s the video that captures each of his routines.

It’s a new era…

Our boys love the “Little Park” by our house and one of the most fun things is the talking/listening thing.  On one side of the play structure is a tall pipe with a cone-shaped top to speak into and from which to hear.  The other end is up on top of the play structure.  The boys love talking into these and seeing if they can hear the person on the other end.

Yesterday Cole and Alex were talking (shouting) in to them.  Cole, eventually tiring of the game, walked away saying, “Alex, we’re not online anymore.”

Ha! They are definitely children of a new era…

Isn’t that how it works?

While enjoying dinner with Grandma and Papa, Cole observed Papa drinking ice water, then chewing on ice cubes.  A moment of thinking, followed by giggles…”Papa’s going to have ice come out his penis!”

Horrified, we responded, “Cole!  What are you talking about? Don’t say that.”

Cole, still giggling, repeated, “Papa was eating ice, so he’s going to have ice come out his penis!”  Finally, we figured out his train of thought, and his understanding of how food works it way through the body.  Then we promptly moved on to a conversation about what things we talk about (especially at the table).
