As we walked in the door from the garage, Cole went in first, then I held the door for Alex.  Upon seeing this, Cole says “Thank you for helping Alex Mommy, thank you very much for that!”

Lying in bed this morning we heard Cole begin to stir.  Soon, he’d woken enough to begin talking and eventually singing.  The more he woke up, the LOUDER the singing, until he broke out in a rousing rendition of, “The B-I-B-L-E, yes that’s the book for me!  I stand alone on my tip tip toes, the B-I-B-L-E!”

Today we went to a play area.  Prior to heading in, I took Cole potty.  The first door said “do not use.”  We went to the next door.  While using the toilet, he read a sign that said “do not throw baby wipes in toilet.”  He was quiet for a minute.  Then, demonstrating his ability to “talk nice” (as his mother is CONSTANTLY reminding him to do), he says “They said ‘Do not use’.  They shouldn’t say it like that.  They should say ‘Yes Please, wipes in the GARBAGE!”

Big day today for Alex – he walked down the entire flight of stairs on his own.  He didn’t hold on to anything and didn’t stop!  Small victories and little steps, but a great moment for our precious boy.
