Our boys LOVE church, and all things associated. \u00a0The other night at Pathfinders, I was hanging out with Alex in the Sanctuary and he began asking about the cross. \u00a0I explained that Jesus died on the cross and that it was amazing that he did that for us so that we don’t have to die, but can go to heaven with him. \u00a0It was kind of a precious moment.<\/p>\n
The next day we went to swimming lessons with Cole. Alex got bored, so we started wandering and came across another pool that had starting blocks lined up at one end. \u00a0He asked what they were and I explained. \u00a0“Those are starting blocks. \u00a0People dive off of them in to the pool.” \u00a0Then he got to see someone dive in. \u00a0He asked again and I explained again “people dive in the pool from the starting blocks.”<\/p>\n
“Jesus!” he yelled.
\n“What?”
\n“Jesus swim!!”
\n“No Alex. \u00a0It’s DIVE, not DIE. \u00a0That’s not what Jesus did for us.”
\nBut he continues to insist…”Jesus Swim!”<\/p>\n
